Cobham Heritage Trust show pride in their high street
They are so proud of their High Street in Cobham, Surrey, and the many independent shops and businesses that they have recently put on an exhibition tracing its evolution from just after WWII to the present. The exhibition, titled Coronation to COVID, featured 12 photo and information boards. It drew a large crowd to the Cobham Platinum Jubilee Day Celebration.
It brought back many memories for those who had lived in Cobham for a long time, and those who were newer to the area enjoyed seeing comparison photographs over the years. Several independent businesses have survived the years, most notably Farrants, which occupies a prominent location on the High Street.
