Our objectives

To develop a strategy for growth in 2025-2030, building a stronger civic movement with a measurable impact
To build a more diverse movement which truly represents our communities
To amplify community voice to ensure better policy and planning decisions in the places we care about
To demonstrate how genuine community engagement and codesign builds better places - together.

Our activities

We are the national membership organisation for hundreds of civic and amenity societies and groups around England.

We support our local member societies in growing their organisations and their positive impact through training, advice, support, networking, signposting and provision of shared resources.

We develop and advocate policies for better places, aiming to influencing policy at national, regional and local levels.
