All party parliamentary group

All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal cross-party groups that have no official status within Parliament. They are run by and for Members of the Commons and Lords, though many choose to involve individuals and organisations from outside Parliament in their administration and activities.

We're working hard to re-establish this group for 2026 as it has not been functioning since 2023.

The original group was felt to benefit parliamentarians, who gained understanding of the impact of civic societies in their constituencies and nationally, and insights into community voice in relation to the built environment.

Civic societies and communities benefitted from being able to share concerns and local expertise directly with parliamentarians.

We will update this page and our news page with information as soon as it becomes available.
